The United States stock markets opened the trading session on Monday in a positive zone, while the S & P 500 index has updated the intraday maximum rate at the opening of the trading. On Monday, 11 July Reuters reported that it had grown by 0.57% – to 2139.1 points to the middle of the day.

The agency notes that the behavior of the index is associated with the publication of the monthly employment report, which has stabilized the investors’ confidence in the US economy.
At the same time the growth has been demonstrated almost in the entire range of securities. Seven out of ten major industry sub-indices of S & P 500 reached the positive trend. The leaders were the shares of financial companies, which gained 0.62%.

Thus, the price of JPMorgan shares has jumped by 1.3%, giving the biggest impetus to the index S & P.  The shares of Citigroup, Bank of America and Wells Fargo have also risen.
To the end of the day the Dow Jones has risen by 0.36% to 18 231.58 points, the S & P 500 index – by 0.19% to 2133.85 points, Nasdaq Composite index – by 0.48% to 4980.73 points.
Before this a historical record was recorded only on 19 May, 2015. Then, the maximum rate of S & P500 index was 2137.1 points.
S & P 500 is a stock index, which basket includes 500 joint-stock companies of the United States with the largest capitalization. The company Standard & Poor’s owns the list and makes it.
