The European Central Bank left the interest rate on loans unchanged on the results of the meeting held on Thursday. The bank announced that the rate was remained at the zero level. In addition, the European Central Bank left the rate for deposits unchanged at the mark of minus 0.4% per annual, the rate on margin loans – 0.25% per annual. The amount of the asset repurchase program was also left at the same level – 80 billion euros per month. In general, the decisions of the European Central Bank coincided with expectations, which were expressed by the market. Early last month the European Central Bank also left the interest rate on loans at the zero level.

That time the bank left the rate on deposits at the old level with the mark of minus 0.4% per annual, the rate on margin loans – 0.25% per annual. The decisions that were taken by the European Central Bank also coincided with the market forecasts in general.
