“Black gold” is slightly increasing in price on Friday, trying to compensate the losses of Thursday. However, prices still remain under the pressure because of the investors’ concern regarding the supply surplus of refined petroleum products. Also, the increase of the raw material supply on the world market affects the oil prices.

Iraq increased its export shipment in the current month. The oil supply on the market of the USA was fixed at historical highs. At the same time, last week petrol reserves in the United States increased for the fourth time over the last five weeks despite the fact that the fuel consumption in the country became a record.

The cost of the September futures for Brent oil on the London Stock Exchange at the beginning of the trading session went up by 0.2% to $ 46.28 per barrel. The futures price for WTI oil for September delivery at the trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange has increased by 4 cents to $ 44.71 per barrel at this time.
