The US dollar has fallen at the trading session on Monday. The benefit, which it scored on the positive data on the inflation in the United States, has been lost. By the way, the information about the inflation has made chances of the Fed raising rates stronger in 2016.

In the morning the dollar index has decreased by 0,24 %. This index tracks the price of the US currency against a basket of six basic currencies- rivals. The index has amounted to 95.873. Last Friday it reached the highest level since the early September when it was equal to 96.108.

According to the data, which were got on Friday, the inflation in the United States was steadily growing. This is evidenced by the fact that consumer prices in the US have risen more than expected in August. The steady increase in the level of the inflation will allow the Federal Reserve to raise the rate in the current year.

Short-term contracts on the interest rate in the United States are currently demonstrating the likelihood of the rate increase by the Fed in December. It is equal to 55 percent against 47 percent of the data on the inflation from FedWatch Tool.

It is unlikely that the rate will be raised at the meeting this week. The probability is only 12 percent.

The growth of the euro has amounted to 0.13 per cent to $ 1.1168. The dollar has fallen by0.22 percent against the yen.

This week investors are closely monitoring the meetings of the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan, which are scheduled for September 20-21.
