The US dollar has fallen against the Japanese currency to the minimum mark almost for a month on the background of the fact that the US Federal Reserve decided to leave its monetary policy unchanged and signalled that rates in the future and in the 2018 would rise less aggressively.

Experts say that this is the reason why the US dollar may decline against the yen even more in the near future. Apparently, such a judgement is confirmed by a strong position of the yen, which is supported by the uncertainty that the reconsideration of the policy of the Central Bank of Japan is just enough to increase the rate of inflation.

The US currency has reached the figure of 100.10 yen at a certain point. It has been a minimum since 26 August. By the beginning of the day the dollar has restored a part of its losses. The dollar is being traded near 100.22 yen. This figure is by 0.1 percent lower than the end of the previous session.

The euro has risen by 0.1 percent to $ 1.1199. Thus, it has moved from the lowest point of Wednesday, which was equal to $ 1.1123.

New Zealand’s dollar has fallen because the country’s Reserve Bank left the possibility for another rate cut in 2016.

The regulator has not changed its key rate. It has been left on Thursday at the level of 2.0 percent. However, the regulator said that in the future it would be necessary to soften the rate.
