On Wednesday the US currency is rising against the yen, while the euro is recovering losses from its reduction due to worries about the financial system of the European Union.

By Wednesday morning the US dollar has risen by 0.18 percent against the Japanese currency and reached 100.61 yen. The dollar has got a strong position after it dropped to the mark of 100.085 yen on Tuesday. This was a maximum fall for the month.

The euro has showed the stability against the dollar and is being traded at around $ 1.1213.

On Tuesday the euro fell due to the fact that the papers of Deutsche Bank, the biggest creditor in Germany, had fallen to the unprecedentedly low mark due to the anxiety that the bank had problems with the US Department of Justice. The Department proposed the bank to pay $ 14 billion to settle claims that had emerged during the investigation of the manipulations with mortgage securities.

The index of the US currency against the basket of six basic currencies has increased by 0.09 % to 95.522.

Shinichiro Kadota from Tokyo Barclays said: “Even after a series of good economic data from the US, the dollar could not grow much yesterday and this is likely to suggest that its growth potential is currently limited.”

The information that came on Tuesday showed that consumer confidence in the United States had increased. At the same time, the information about the services sector also showed better than expected results.
