According to the Iranian news agency Shana, on Monday Iran begins to accept the applications for the participation in tenders for the development of the oil and gas fields of the country. Iran will start contracts for the development and production after the West lifts sanctions from Tehran.

According to National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), «those who have a good reputation and are allowed to take part in the tender of the company” will have to fill out the applications for the participation in the oil and gas upstream-projects. The information about the projects will be posted on the company’s website. This was also reported by the news agency Shana.

The information about the total number of projects has not been available yet.

Ali Kardor , head of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), announced the forecast that Iran would have held the tenders for the companies regarding the development of oil and gas fields of  the country by the end of November.

In early October the NIOC Company signed the first oil contract IPC. It is a contract of a new model. According to the US data, the contract has been signed with the company, which is a part of the economic empire that is being controlled by the spiritual and political leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
