The figures on the dynamics of the gross domestic product in the UK have been published. In the last quarter of this year, this indicator has grown by 0.4%. In terms of the year, GDP growth has amounted to 1.5%.

Experts and market analysts agreed that, compared to the previous quarter, GDP growth would not exceed 0.3%. Thus, the reality has turned out to be more optimistic than the forecasts.

We recall that for the second quarter, the growth totalled 0.3%.

Analysts note a rapid growth in the sphere of construction in the United Kingdom. The construction activity has increased by 1% for the quarter. Industrial production also shows excellent dynamics (the increase is 1%); the services sector is also developing (the growth is 0.4%).

These figures will undoubtedly cause the strengthening of the national currency; the trend will continue for some time.
