Microsoft reanimates dual-screen smartphones

Microsoft, an American high-tech giant, plans to come back to the smartphone market. Representatives of the company have held a presentation of the folding smartphone Surface Duo. The device will run Android. We recall that Microsoft abandoned the idea of getting its share in the smartphone market two years ago after an unsuccessful purchase of Nokia.

It became known that the device would have two screens (each with a diagonal of 5.6 inches). Unfolded smartphone works as a tablet with the screen of 8.3 inches.

The company has ambitious plans to develop its own operating system for a new type of gadget.

Microsoft has boasted not only its novelty but also introduced a folding Surface Neo tablet with two screens (each 9 inches). The sale of devices is scheduled for the end of next year.
