The dollar has been above 65 rubles at the start of the trading on Wednesday
At the Moscow stock exchange the dollar and euro have risen at the start of the trading session on Wednesday. Since 11 August the dollar has amounted to more than 65 rubles for the first time. The ruble has fallen due to the decrease of the oil prices.
The first transactions on the dollar were carried out within 64,79-65,07 rubles. On the average the exchange rate was equal to 64.89 rubles during the first two minutes. Herewith, the euro was 73.32 rubles on the average. The currency basket has increased by 27 kopecks and amounted to 68.68 rubles.
The dollar maximally has updated since 11August. It has been for the first time over 2 weeks. On the average, its rate was 12 kopecks higher than the current official exchange rate; the euro – by 15 kopecks below the official rate. The experts of the “Interfax-CEA” associate the decline of the ruble against the dollar with a new wave of the oil prices quotations. On the London Stock Exchange the price of October futures for Brent oil has fallen by about 1.5% to $49.13 per barrel at the beginning of the day. The information of the American Petroleum Institute about the growth of raw material stocks by more than 4 million barrels in the US market contributed to the oil prices decrease.
