The ruble is growing against the euro at the start of the session
At the Moscow Stock Exchange the dollar has slightly hesitated at the start of the session of Friday. The euro has slightly fallen during the bidding process on early Friday. The Russian ruble has strengthened against the currency basket due to the increasing oil prices.
The bidding on the US dollar started with the transactions within 62,92-63,08 rubles. On the average, the exchange rate has become equal to 63.01 rubles over the first a half and a minute. At the start of the session the euro was trading at 69.41 rubles. The currency basket has fallen by 15 kopecks, amounting to 65.89 rubles.
Thus, the US currency has fallen by 34 kopecks below the current official exchange rate. The euro is 32 kopecks below the official rate.
The analysts at “Interfax-CEA” explain the slight dollar change simultaneously with the fall of the euro by the fact that the oil rising price support the ruble.
Black gold, which fell on Thursday against the information about the increase of fuel stocks in the US market, is insignificantly increasing on Friday. In the first half of the day the price of contracts for Brent crude oil for December has increased by 0.4% and amounted to $ 52.2 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange. Prospects for agreements among the OPEC participants support prices, although the market has doubts that the transaction will be effective.
