The ruble is growing against the dollar and the euro at the start of the trading session on Wednesday
At the Moscow Stock Exchange the Russian currency has grown against the US dollar and the euro at the start of the trading session on Wednesday. The ruble was supported by the growth of the global oil prices.
The first deals on the US currency have been carried out within 62,72-62,81 rubles/$1. The exchange rate became equal to 62.76 rubles/$1 over the first a minute and a half. At the same time the euro has amounted to 68.92 rubles / EUR1. The currency basket has lost about five kopecks and became equal to 65.53 rubles.
Thus, the US dollar has become 13 kopecks lower than the current official exchange rate, the euro – 34 kopecks below the official rate.
According to the analysts of “Interfax-CEA”, the fall of exchange rates can be explained by the continuing increase in oil prices. On Wednesday oil is rising in price by more than 1% after the published information about the fall of raw material stocks in the US market. In addition, the optimistic comments of the OPEC about the prospects of the agreement conclusion regarding the oil production limitation have become the reason for the oil growth. To the beginning of the day the price of futures for December Brent crude oil has increased by 1.2%, amounting to $ 52.3 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange.
