The US dollar and the euro have grown at the beginning of the session on Tuesday
At the Moscow Stock Exchange the Russian currency has slightly fallen against the US dollar at the start of the trading session on Thursday because of the falling global oil prices.
On Thursday the bidding on the dollar has been opened with transactions within 62,35-62,45 rubles. On the average, the rate has become equal to 62.42 rubles for the first a minute and a half. By that time the euro was being traded at 68.46 rubles. The currency basket has increased by 11.5 kopecks, amounting to 65.14 rubles.
At the same time the US currency has become 16 kopecks below the current official exchange rate, the euro – 31 kopecks lower than the actual rate.
The analysts at “Interfax-CEA” explain the slight drop of the Russian ruble against the two major currencies in early trading by the falling oil quotes. A day earlier oil prices grew significantly. On Thursday morning black gold becomes a bit cheaper. To the beginning of the day the price of futures contracts for Brent crude oil for December has fallen by 0.7%, amounting to $ 52.3 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange. Before that Brent rose by 1.9%; prices were fluctuating around the high for 15 months.
