The dollar is falling below 62 rubles due to the oil growth
The dollar has fallen below the index of 62 rubles for the first time over 2 weeks. The euro has updated its lowest level over the period of more than a year on foreign sales of exporters and oil prices, which began to grow again.
In the afternoon the US dollar has fallen to 61.9925 rubles, losing 19 kopecks to the end of the session on Monday. It has updated the low since 10 October (more than over 2 weeks). Earlier, the euro fell to 67.4325 rubles – the minimum updated since last July.
The analysts at “Interfax-CEA” noted that the Russian currency was growing more intense against the background of the increased demand for the ruble liquidity if there was the continuation of the consolidation in the oil market.
At the same time the raw materials, slightly going down on Tuesday morning, are being adjusted upward now. To the beginning of the day the contracts for Brent crude oil for December have increased by 0.5%, amounting to $ 51.75 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange.
