Beauty to the masses. Europe welcomes the opening of the largest jewelry factory
One of the oldest and largest jewelry companies in the world, Bulgari officially announced the opening of a grandiose manufacturing complex. The area of the plant is 15 thousand square meters. At the moment 400 people are working on the production of jewelry and accessories. Staff doubling is planned within a few years.
The company was founded in the late 19th century (1884). It’s no wonder that a school of jewelers was opened at the plant in order to transfer the experience accumulated for so long. The school is designed for 40 places, half of which has been already occupied.
The headquarters of the jewelry giant is in Rome, while the manufacturing areas were opened in the picturesque region of Italy – Piedmont, specifically in the commune of Valenza. This location is not chosen by chance, the place is a traditional center of the jewelry industry.
We remind that 6 years ago (in 2011) the company Bulgari was taken under control (by purchasing 51% of the capital) by the LVMH group (LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton). The amount of the transaction was estimated at 3.7 billion euros. The new management took up the development of the brand by increasing the trading network and advertising expansion. The opening of the largest factory in Europe is the next step in the company development.
