How to hack Apple? This is well known to the CIA and … WikiLeaks

The ways used by the CIA employees to hack Apple’s devices were made publicly available yesterday. Apple shares reacted with a fall. This is thanks to the site WikiLeaks specialized in the publication of secret documents.

We have the information that two software products – NightSkies and Sonic Screwdriver- were actively used (and probably are being used) for this. The first software was developed 9 years ago for the iPhone, the second software has been running the rest of Apple devices for 5 years.

According to the portal, the programs were working in the background and were not deleted even when the system was completely reinstalled. In addition to the control, the functionality of the programs included the remote control of the device.

Such news negatively affected the reputation of Apple. The trust in reliability of devices produced by the “Apple” giant has been lost, which will inevitably affect the financial performance of the corporation.
