An American auto giant Ford and the Internet giant Baidu from China are concluding an agreement in order to test unmanned vehicles in the territory of the Celestial Empire. Partnership conditions are not highlighted.

The two companies have already worked together. Baidu supplied automatic control equipment for Ford models. The parties separately noted that self-driving cars (SAE level 4) would participate in the project. They absolutely do not need the human intervention.

In the third quarter, Baidu’s profit has risen by 56% to $ 1.8 billion. In terms of ADR, this is equal to $ 2.7, which turned out to be a little more than the experts had predicted.

Baidu’s revenue has increased from 23.5 billion in the third quarter of 2017 to 28.2 billion yuan in the third quarter of this year.
