An automaker Fiat is going to invest 5 billion Euros in the improvement of the production in Italy. It is planned to absorb investments in the next four years. The money will be spent on increasing the number of SUVs and electric cars. Such information was made public by the reputable agency Bloomberg.

The funds will be used for the production of Alfa Romeo SUVs in Pomigliano. By the way, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio comes from this town. The budget is enough to start the production of Fiat 500 with an electric drive in Turin. Jeep will be assembled in the southern part of the country.

The representatives of the concern have not yet had time to comment on the news published by the Bloomberg agency.

On this positive news, the company’s shares have grown by 0.3%.
