Huawei Financial Director was released on bail
December 13
09:00 2018

A Canadian Court has freed Meng Wanzhou, CFO of the well-known high-tech company Huawei, after posting bail.

It cost $ 7.5 million to let her go. A husband and colleagues were able to collect the required amount and now she has been detained at home. Previously, Chinese and Hong Kong documents were seized from her.

The Huawei executive was taken into custody on 1st December at the request of the American side. The States pressed charges against her stating that she had organized deals with Iran, which was under sanctions. Within 2 months, America must build a package of documents with evidence of Ms. Wanzhou’s guilt and refer the case of extradition to Canada.

Undoubtedly, this news will affect the quotes of the Chinese giant.
