According to IMF, this year the global debt has reached $ 184 trillion. This indicator is a record. It is equal to 2.25 of global GDP.

Now, per capita debt is about 86 thousand US dollars, despite the fact that expenditure is half.

The lead “debtors” are the United States, China and Japan. These 3 states have more than 50% of the debt. Their contribution to production is much lower.

When calculating, the International Monetary Fund took into account indicators of 190 countries.
