Honda will stop production in Britain

Honda will stop its factory in Swindon for 6 days. An attempt to avoid potential problems that may appear after Brexit motivated that decision. The company says that these measures are necessary in order to eliminate delays in deliveries.

Thus, Honda will reduce the risks of interruptions in production and avoid potential difficulties at customs. About 3,500 employees work in Swindon.

Another Japanese manufacturer, Toyota, will not stop the production in Britain. “In March, we will have a peak of the production, because we will launch a new Corolla.”

The disputes over the terms of Brexit resumed again after the question of the transaction was put to a vote. Then, a month ago, the conservatives refused to support the premier’s plan.
