According to Nikkei, several large IT companies, including Microsoft and Amazon, are thinking about diverting their production from China.
Thus, HP and Dell, well-known manufacturers of laptops, want to withdraw about a third of their capacity from China. At the moment, they are considering the possibility of transferring supply chains to Taiwan or Thailand. The implementation of such a plan can start as early as this year. By the way, Dell has already organized test production in the Philippines and Taiwan.
Companies like Google and Amazon are already considering transfer schemes for the production of their products. Also, Microsoft and Sony would like to divert the production of their game consoles from China.
Other large firms are concerned about the transfer of production units. Acer, Lenovo and Asus are among them.
