According to the data provided by Rightmove, the price for real estate in London has grown. By the way, there has been no increase in price by the owners since 2017.
In annual terms, prices in August have grown 1.3%; compared with June they have fallen only 0.1%. This is the smallest decline in August since 2006.
Realtors explain that the main reason for the increase in prices is the lack of offers in the market. The number of owners who sell property has decreased by 10% compared with last August. Due to Brexit, to be held in late October, real estate sales began to grow earlier this year.
The general situation in Britain regarding housing prices has changed a lot. Traditionally expensive regions (Northern England, Wales and Scotland) show a decline in the market. By contrast, housing prices have risen in the regions where their cost is usually lower.
