The statistical office of the European Union reports that in the second quarter of this year the eurozone economy has shown an increase. Compared to the first quarter, the growth has amounted to 0.2%. In annual terms, the indicator has increased 1.2%. The eurozone economy is calculated for 19 countries in the region.
The economic growth has coincided with the forecasts given by analysts and experts. Turning out to be predictable, the second quarter has not brought any surprise. In the preliminary report on the increase of the indicator, the annual growth was estimated at 1-1.1%, which also coincided with the opinion of experts.
