Today, at 8.15 a.m. Moscow time, futures for Brent crude oil were trading in London for $ 58.31 per barrel. This is only 0.1% below the closing price of the previous session. We recall that on Friday, European brand oil was steadily growing. Brent rose to $ 58.37 (1.14% or $ 0.66) per trading day.

Today, oil futures for WTI have grown 0.02% to $ 52.82 per barrel of “black gold”. Unlike the European brand, WTI on Friday showed a rather significant fall, losing $ 0.36 (0.69%). Then it cost $ 52.81.

Last week, Brent crude oil lost a total of 4.4%, the American WTI brand – 5.5%.

At the moment, rumors and news about the upcoming negotiations between the two titans of the modern world – China and the United States- are decisive for the energy market. It became known that at the weekend, official Beijing had limited the list of topics to be discussed at a future meeting. In particular, an industrial policy reform and the topic of state subsidies were ostracized. Analysts believe that at the moment, China has a significant advantage over the United States due to the scandal that initiated the start of the impeachment proceeding of the odious American president Donald Trump.
