The well-known company Facebook has announced the launch of its own electronic payment system Facebook Pay. Through the company’s official blog, we have found out that the service will operate not only in the social network itself, but also in its messenger and  Instagram, as well as in the WhatsApp messaging system.

Facebook Pay so far operates exclusively in the States and only in the social network under the same name. At the moment, users are given the opportunity to pay for additional services in gaming applications, transfer money from account to account or send funds to charity. In the near future, the company plans to expand both the geography and the functionality of the service.

At the moment, almost any card (credit or debit), as well as PayPal, can be connected to Facebook Pay. The management of the company guarantees that information about cards and transactions will be reliably protected.
