The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has presented data on supplies of raw materials to refineries. The statistics are not lying. According to the figures, in Russia for the period from January to August last year, gold production increased significantly. The growth rate was almost 20%. During this period, 232 tons of precious metal were produced.
Mining gold production increased 10%- to 178.7 tons, by-product gold production – 23% to 12.7 tons, and scrap gold – almost 2 times to 40.7 tons.
Silver production decreased by 10%, to 634.8 tons.
